160-HP 1.4L MultiAir® Turbo Engine

160 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque sounds good, doesn’t it? That’s what you get with the standard 1.4L MultiAir® Turbo engine, which happens to be the most powerful four-cylinder engine in its class. It features twin intercoolers and a fresh-air induction system. This turbocharger is teamed with the six-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter. A six-speed automatic transmission is available. And those 160 horses sound even better through the available sport-tuned exhaust.

Performance and style are beautiful together. The 16-inch painted silver aluminum wheels with 195/50R16 three-season performance tires are standard on the FIAT® 124 Spider Classica. The Lusso features 17-inch premium aluminum wheels painted silver and 205/45R17 three-season performance tires. The Abarth carries 17-inch gunmetal painted aluminum wheels.

Halogen Daytime Running Lamps

All FIAT® 124 Spider models include projector halogen headlamps and halogen daytime running lamps for exceptional visibility. LED headlamps with washers and LED daytime running lamps are available. Automatic headlamps and Automatic High-Beam Control Headlamps are also available. The available LED headlamps include automatic headlamp leveling and an Adaptive Front Lighting System. The adaptive system uses the steering angle and vehicle speed to adjust the headlamp position to maintain a wide field of vision.

Blind Spot Monitoring And Rear Cross Path Detection

The available Blind Spot Monitoring System helps you make safer lane changes by alerting you when a vehicle enters your blind-spot zone. Sensors scan approximately one lane over on each side. When a vehicle is detected in the blind spot zone, an icon lights up in the exterior mirror. Available Rear Cross Path Detection helps you back out of parking spaces when your side views are blocked. When your vehicle moves in reverse, a warning will sound and an icon in the exterior mirror will alert you if a vehicle or object crosses your path.
