When a difference is detected between your steering input and the direction the vehicle is moving, ESC automatically adjusts the throttle and applies the brakes to individual wheels. It uses the dynamic control systems to help you maintain directional control under demanding and adverse conditions. ESC features a three-mode calibration on FIAT 500 Abarth models that help maximize handling capabilities on and off the track.
